ANNOUNCEMENT! Two Lexie’s Legacy Events!

After closing out the second half of 2008 with many great events raising a bunch of funds for Lexie’s Legacy Scholarship fund, we were set to take a break but thanks to even more great friends on the Augusta music scene, events for February and March have already been put together, booked and ready to go!
 
February 20/21 - A VERY LEXIE WEEKEND @ SKY CITY
This event is so huge it had to be spread over two nights!  Doors open at 8 each night with music starting at 9 and cover is only $5 each night!

Lexie’s Legacy CD “A Very Lexie CD!!!!” Release Show – February 20^th @ Sky City  - Cover $5 Cover includes a copy of the CD!Bands playing show:  Ajustmentz – L.I.E. – Suhgarim – Shotgun Opera

Bands on CD to include: Ajustmentz, L.I.E., Suhgarim, Shotgun Opera, Signal 18, Chairleg,  G-City Rockers, Will McCranie, Bleeding Counterfeit, Dew Hickies, Allison Foster, J.J. Talynn & Friends, NoStar, Tommy OD & the Survivors, 48Volt, & Billy S.  This will be one of the hottest CD’s of the year and will be printed in limited quantity so making it out to this event is a must!  $5 to band your head and walk away with a kick-butt CD!

Musicians Night Out Volume 8 March 20th 8PM at Sky City

For those unfamiliar with the MNO series that Augusta band The Vellotones have been hosting for the past few years, imagine a hot smoking rock band backing up a “whos-who” list of Augusta musicians!  Cool part is, you will recognize just about every song because even the original Augusta acts will be guesting on great cover tunes from the past 50 years of rock & roll history!  

The work and memorial continues in 2009!
